Kieriya (Antonidas - US & Oceanic) - Profiler - Wowhead

Kieriya (Antonidas - US & Oceanic) - Profiler - Wowhead

Today...I rearranged my living room for WoW. I'm not sure if this is a step in the wrong direction. It seems as though it may go against everything I had stated previously about WoW not being an all consuming monster...but I assure you, it's a move for the better. I would also like to mention that this was not a change that I brought on myself. It was instigated by a former WoW addict, who decided it would be better if he lent me his monitor so I could WoW while Jack plays the Ps3. I'm sure I have mentioned previously that the pc was connected to the TV...so my play was pretty limited, what with all the other forms of media we need to blast ourselves with. So...now we will see. I haven't actually played in two days. I got myself to level 10 and now have so many damn things to read that I don't have time to play.

On a side note, I found my profile stuff on WoWHead.com, and while I was being assisted in viewing my 'toon' by my Pusher Andy, he noted that I was dressed sluttily. I had no idea I wasn't wearing a shirt under my other thingie. Looked good to me. Now I need a Wow dressing etiquette class.

WoWing with Friends

So day 2.

I'm a level six, and thanks to my friend Andy the Pusher, I have goggles to wear, a gun to shoot, and expanded storage space. Andy is also now my career advisor, and has steered me clear of what I thought would be a satisfying career in leathermaking. I find myself calling 'professions' 'jobbie-thingies' occasionally just to see if I can annoy Andy.

I have died once, and have no idea where to find my pet...some sort of Drahonhawk? I even named it yesterday! (again with Andy's help)There were moments playing this game yesterday where my thumbs and fingers felt like they were swathed in cotton. I actually felt old and technologically slow. I kept jumping and running while trying to type chat...or typing wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww when I was trying to move. Only minor things. I didn't flap around like a jackass too much...

I have no idea how to chat with anyone, find anyone, or do anything except what I'm told, but it's fun! When you type 'lol' you actually laugh out loud. It cracks me up, and I 'lol' in my living room. The game has a sense of humor I can relate to. Again, the long term playability is really what finally pulled me in. I played Dragon Age Origins through about ten different times. I say 'different', but only the Origin part of each character was different, than it was the same thing over and over and over...No chance of that here.

I have to get to level 10 before my profile shows up on the Wow profile page, but at this rate, it will be later today.

ok...off to WoW

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft

So, It Happened.

I joined the Meteverse. I got a WoW account.
Actually, my pusher Andy got me the first two games. He said they were a gift, this time, but if I wanted more, I'd have to pay...I think I may have observed a 'the More You Know' with similar wording after school, or on a Saturday morning. GI Joe, or A My Little Pony probably advised me against anyone expelling this line of dialog. But I'm a sucker for a good friend. Actually, I'm a sucker for a game I can play for more than 2 days without beating. The virtual straw that broke the camels back was when I beat Fable 3 so quickly. I love Fable. LOVE. I needed more...I'm hoping this will fill my need for a great RPG, without all the soul sucking and life consuming most people seem to believe comes in the WoW box.

Day 1....wish me luck.

(and I say day one, because even though i got the game yesterday...it really wasn't installed until midnight. Actually, it's still downloading...but allowing play)
